This style is just so satisfying to look at: For box braids, hair strands are parted into rectangles, resulting in a checkerboard-like pattern on the scalp. The shape of the parts resembles little boxes, hence the name box braids. Braids plaited in this fashion are one of the most popular braiding hairstyles. For some, it is actually the only proper way to make braids, which is why the term box braids is often used interchangeably with braids in general. 

Your hair can be parted into various kinds of patterns, for example large rectangles or quadrats, very small quadrats or even more fancy into triangles or other shapes. Color wise, there are virtually no limits to your styling with box braids. By using colorful synthetic hair extensions, we can plan and create the hairstyle of your dreams together. How about, for example, box braids with a nice ombre-style color transition? Of course, using the extensions can also extend the length of your braids considerably beyond the length of your own hair. Just keep in mind that your hair should be at least 15cm long (about chin-length) before you have it braided. This will make sure the result will be perfect and the braids will last for a while.
