Fulani braids are a very cool mix out of cornrows and braids. For this style, your hair will first be braided close to the scalp. Those cornrows then transition into freely dangling braids. The cornrows can be arranged in a multitude of different patterns, which opens endless possibilities for giving a very individual, creative touch to your personal Fulani braids hairstyle. 

The name for these braids originates from the fact that this hairstyle was traditionally (and still is) very popular with the African Fulani people. In their traditional form, Fulani braids are often plaited with very thin cornrows, arranged in a specific way that resembles a middle parting. By braiding the cornrows a bit thicker, and adding colourful synthetic hair extensions, a very modern, stylish look can be created.
